Novenas for Priests
Pray for priests’ holiness, humility, perseverance, and service of the people entrusted to them. The traditional Divine Mercy novena includes priests and religious among its intentions. Prayer for clergy should support fidelity and accountability, not excuse harm or ignore those wounded by it.
Recommended novenas
Divine Mercy Novena
Mercy is not pretending sin does not matter. It is turning toward Christ for forgiveness and learning to extend compassion to others. These nine days widen your prayer beyond your own needs. If you wish to follow the traditional devotion, pray the Chaplet each day using the linked authoritative guide.
St. Padre Pio Novena
If prayer has become only a last resort, use these days to return to a steadier relationship with God. Ask for the courage to seek reconciliation where needed and for compassionate care in suffering. Do not expect a vision, a cure, or a particular sign as proof that your prayer was heard.
Pentecost Novena
The Holy Spirit is not a force we learn to control. He is God, leading the Church and giving gifts for love and service. Ask for wisdom, courage, and holiness without treating unusual experiences as a required proof that the Spirit is at work.
